Bridal trial - £40

(SALON BASED ONLY)

Includes one pair of false adhesive lashes

Anytime from 12 months to 3 weeks before the wedding. The trial session will include finding your perfect make-up look. Whether it be really natural or super glam, we aim to make you feel amazing. Bring photos from Pinterest and we will recreate as best we can.

A bridal trial will take a short while longer than a standard make-up look as we want to ensure all your concerns and interests are covered, so an hour and a half of my time is plenty for a discussion, a full make-up and time for any tweaks or changes to be made. It is common for most brides to create a Pinterest board which helps us create the perfect look as we have a visual representation of the look you desire.

As this is the most important make-up, some say, of your life - we need to ensure it is perfect and camera ready. The knowledge I posses regarding photographic make-up will ensure no white flash-back in photos, no peach fuzz on close up macro shots and the perfect primers and lip conditioners to make the condition of your skin and lips appear flawless and dewy. Not forgetting, make-up that lasts all day AND night!

“Absolutely fabulous make up artist! Cannot recommend Olivia more highly - Thoroughly professional, helpful, calm and provided some really useful make up tips! - My bridesmaids looked stunning in natural, peachy tones and
I was delighted with my look. I had about 3 trials, only because Olivia has so many great make up themes to choose from. Everyone was so complimentary. Thank you so much” Alex, 2017

“Olivia did my bridesmaids and flower girl make up. They all looked so amazing and the make up lasted all through the night (even though it was one of the hottest days ever!!) I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Olivia!” Shelley, 2018

FAQs

“What if I don’t normally wear much make-up - I still want to look like myself”

Natural make-up for your wedding day is totally achievable, with light application but durable products we can ensure you look glowing but still yourself - at the end of the day we still want your fiancé to recognise you for the woman he knows and loves!

“What do you need when you come to the wedding to do our make-up?”

I just need a table to put my make-up out on. I bring my own ring light and stool so you don’t need to worry about lighting or seating. In the middle of summer ideally not in the conservatory if you have one - we get hot left in there all day! The kitchen or lounge is perfect.

“My Mum doesn’t want it to look heavy, she’s nervous to have her make-up done”

Professional make-up application is foreign to the older generation so I definitely get this a lot - but don’t worry. I have been taught the tips and tricks of mature make-up application. How to keep it light, avoid drawing attention to wrinkles and downy hair. You’re in safe hands! Alternatively, a trial for the Mother of the Bride is £35 and can attend the Bridal trial too.

“I hate wearing lashes, do I have to have them?”

This is something 80% of my brides say. I can guarantee the reason they hate lashes is because every time they have tried them they have used the glue incorrectly, the lashes haven’t been cut to size properly or applied correctly. I have a wide range of lashes, including individual lashes, all that are applied seamlessly. For me, lashes take a bride from a 6/10 to a 10/10. 99% of brides fall in love with lashes after they have them in their trial.

“What about lipstick, do I have to buy the one you use?”

No, every bride and bridesmaid is left with a small pot of the lipstick I have applied in a little organza bag perfect to pop in your clutch. If you’d rather buy your own - please bring your favourite shade to your trial.
