Get to know me

My name is Olivia, but you can call me Liv! The salon has been my baby for the last 10 years. I work in here by myself, so it will only ever be me doing your services. I’m a super friendly, bubbly, fun girl and my clients usually either fall asleep because my lash bed is so comfy, or spend their time laughing and venting in your very own bestie-therapy session while you get your lashes/brows done! I’m an open book and am guided by you throughout the appointment. If its your one hour a week where you switch off and relax or you want to spend the hour moaning about your boyfriend - have at it girl! I play chilled music, light yummy candles and have a cosy, warm salon in quiet Corfe Mullen. If you need me for any advice on your appointment just text or call 07538824621.

How did I get into Make-up and beauty?

I started my business fresh out of university after studying fashion. The fashion studio was next to the make-up studio at Bournemouth Arts University and I always found myself wandering in there to look at all the special FX work they were doing. After graduating and not feeling a career in fashion anymore I discovered that the university were offering evening courses in make-up. They had a teacher who came in to talk to us all about being a Bridal Make-up artist. I had found my calling! (This was in 2015 - a decade ago!)

I finished my make-up evening course but there wasn’t a qualification at the end and it didn’t go over the hygiene or medical backgrounds clients could have so I enrolled on my Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification and here I learnt facials, manicures, pedicures, make-up application, waxing and eyebrow tinting. I didn’t enjoy doing nails but I still offer everything else to this day! Since then I’ve expanded into lash extensions, brow lamination and lash lifts.

Bridal Make-up has been my speciality for the last ten years and most of my weekends have been spent at beautiful wedding venues.

I am also married myself, I got married at The Italian Villa in 2022, so this massively helps with me knowing what its like to be a bride and plan a wedding. It was lovely getting to know my bridal clients but I absolutely love how most of my lash clients in the salon become good friends! I love seeing clients regularly and getting to know you all.

I absolutely love doing lashes, after having so many years under my belt of working against time pressures and having to be good but equally as fast in my work - I took to lashes like a duck to water! I love creating all different styles of lashes and tailoring each set to the person. Whether that be their eye shape, overall look, job or beauty budget! I love the lash lifts are also there for the more natural, low maintenance look.

I pride myself in offering a professional, friendly service from start to finish. I’m organised, understanding and welcoming. I love making my clients feel their very best and meeting new people!

I'm super easy to talk to and have such a laugh with all my clients. I’m really understanding and down to earth - if you’ve had a bad day and don’t want to chat during your lashes I totally get it, equally if you want cheering up I’m here to make you smile.

I’m super organised and like to think I have a seamless booking process.

Polite notice

The salon is a child free zone so please don’t bring your kids (or dogs)! I have tweezers, hot wax, chemicals, glues and expensive make-up. I am also by a main road and you’ll have your eyes closed so you do the math! I am only offering female only services at this present time but I’ll be sure to announce if I go into male grooming services.
