Korean lash lifting has become increasingly popular for its beautifully defined results and precise application technique. It allows me to work carefully with your natural lashes to create a lifted, elongated appearance without the need for extensions, daily lash curlers or mascara.

What Is a Korean Lash Lift?
A Korean lash lift is an advanced lash lifting technique designed to enhance your natural lashes by lifting them upwards from the root.
Unlike traditional lash lifts, which typically involve wrapping lashes around a silicone shield before applying the lifting solution, Korean techniques often involve an initial softening stage that allows the lashes to be repositioned more precisely.
This gives me greater control over the direction and placement of your lashes, particularly if they naturally grow downwards, are stubbornly straight or are difficult to lift.
What makes a Korean lash lift different?

Customised results: The lift can be adapted to your lash length, natural growth direction and eye shape.

Although Korean lash lifting can use a different technique and formulation, it is still a chemical treatment, so correct processing times and professional application are essential to keeping your lashes in good condition.
What Happens During Your Appointment?
Your Korean Lash Lift & Tint appointment takes approximately 45–60 minutes.
You'll be lying comfortably with your eyes closed throughout the treatment, so it's the perfect opportunity to relax.
Step 1: Lash assessment
I'll assess your natural lash length, condition and growth direction before choosing the most suitable lifting technique for your lashes.
Step 2: Preparing and lifting
Your lashes are carefully cleansed and prepared before I use my Korean lash lifting system to soften and reposition them into their new lifted shape.
Step 3: Setting the lashes
Once I'm happy with the placement, a setting solution is applied to help your lashes hold their new shape.
Step 4: Lash tint
I'll tint your lashes to create a darker, more defined finish. This is particularly effective for clients with lighter lash tips, as it can make the lashes appear noticeably longer.
Step 5: Finishing touches
I'll finish by carefully separating and grooming your lashes, leaving them beautifully lifted and defined.
The entire treatment enhances your own lashes, without adding any artificial length or volume.
How Long Does a Korean Lash Lift Last?
A Korean lash lift typically lasts 6–8 weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle.
As your lashes naturally grow and shed, the lifted lashes gradually make way for new, untreated lashes. This is why the results slowly soften rather than disappearing overnight.
Most clients return every 6–8 weeks for their next appointment.
I recommend waiting at least six weeks between treatments, although I will always assess the condition of your natural lashes before carrying out another lift.
If your lashes are still heavily lifted or showing signs of dryness or damage, I may recommend waiting longer.

Aftercare instructions
Avoid getting your lashes wet for at least 4 hours to allow your body to re-coat your lashes in natural protective oils. For best results, keep them dry for 12 hours to maximise the nourishing benefits of Step 3.
Do not rub your eyelashes forcefully or sleep on your face.
If your lashes shift or are disturbed (e.g., during sleep or when applying skincare products), gently brush them back into place using a clean mascara wand.
Use a professional eyelash conditioner after washing your lashes to keep them moisturised, nourished, and regenerated.
If your lashes are tinted, avoid prolonged exposure to strong sunlight or UV light to maintain the colour.
Remember to schedule your next lash lift appointment for 6-8 weeks' time.
You can still use a lash serum or castor oil on a daily basis in between treatments. I recommend the Nanolash serum.
Who Is a Korean Lash Lift Best For?
Korean lash lifting is particularly popular with clients who:

What about very short lashes?
You don't necessarily need naturally long lashes to benefit from a Korean lash lift.
However, the final result will depend on your natural lash length, density and condition. A lash lift cannot create additional lashes or make them physically longer.

Who Cannot Have a Korean Lash Lift?
Although Korean lash lifting is a professional beauty treatment, it isn't suitable for everyone.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Hormonal changes can affect how your lashes respond to lifting treatments. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, please let me know before booking so we can discuss suitability and any relevant product guidance.
Eye infections or irritation
If you're experiencing conjunctivitis, styes, significant irritation or another active eye condition, you'll need to wait until the area has fully recovered.
Recent eye surgery
If you've recently undergone eye surgery or another procedure around the eyes, please obtain clearance from your medical professional before booking.
Damaged or overprocessed lashes
If your lashes are particularly fragile, brittle or showing signs of previous chemical damage, I may recommend allowing them time to recover before another lift.
Allergies and sensitivities
If you've previously experienced an allergic reaction to lash lifting, tinting or similar products, please contact me before booking.
A patch test is required at least 24–48 hours before your first appointment, in accordance with the products used. Please remember that a negative patch test cannot guarantee that an allergic reaction won't occur.
Your natural lash health will always take priority over achieving a dramatic result.
Korean Lash Lift Myths: Let's Clear Them Up
"Korean lash lifts are completely damage-free."
Not quite! Although Korean lifting techniques and modern formulations can offer advantages, they still involve chemically altering the structure of your lashes.
Correct application, appropriate processing times and good aftercare are essential. No chemical lash lift is entirely risk-free.
"Korean lash lifts are the same as traditional lash lifts."
Both treatments work by changing the shape of your natural lashes, but the application techniques and formulations can differ.
Korean lash lifting often involves softening and repositioning the lashes before setting them, allowing for more precise placement and control.
"You can't wear mascara after a Korean lash lift."
You absolutely can! Once any initial aftercare restrictions have passed, you can wear mascara as normal.
Many clients find their lashes already look beautifully defined without it.
"It takes a few appointments before your lashes will lift properly."
This is something I've heard from clients who have previously been disappointed with their lash lift results.
A lash lift should not require several appointments to gradually train your lashes into lifting.
If your lashes haven't lifted as expected, there may be several reasons, including insufficient processing, unsuitable product selection, incorrect lash placement or particularly resistant natural lashes.
Every client's lashes respond differently, but repeated treatments are not a requirement for achieving a successful lift.
